God has called us to be a blessing to the nations. He has placed a strong passion in our hearts to reach the world with His Word, to make a difference in our world that is full of criminal activities. We are completely dedicated to fulfiling the Great Commission, and that is the reason why we spend restless days ministering to lots of people, and blessing them.
Can you think of a time you have been very scared in your life because of a criminal act in your town or city? Have you heard on the radio of horrible criminal activities like rape, theft, violence, murders, etc? Have you ever been a victim of any of these things? Here comes the questions. Who do you blame? The Government because of lack of security? Who has to take the first action to fight against crime?
This is our opinion. Our government has a big responsibility, but they can not change people's hearts, so we think it is the responsibility of Christians to go out and preach the word of God, which is the power of God unto salvation. Through this the hearts of even the most ruthless criminals will be changed. This will reduce the crime rate, we will no more live in fear, and souls also will be added into the Kingdom of God.
For a while we have been taking teams to minister the Word of God in the prison (correctional services) of Bethlehem. It has been an amazing experience to see these guys seeking God so dearly. Many of the criminals end up in prison - a place where we can meet with them and share about the wonderful love of God. There came a time when God laid in our hearts to do something more for the prisoners - to spend time with them, listening, talking, counseling and praying for them. We were invited by Correctional Services to start running training programs in the prison. Our students/inmates were very happy, open to learn more about God and to surrender all to Jesus.
We want to continue running DTS in prisons but we need staff and volunteers who have the passion for prisoners.
